It’s time to GO COASTAL!
For competitors, the Phi Rho Pi National Tournament is the culmination of years of dedication and hard work. The fact that you are at the largest full service tournament is a testament to your success. I hope that your experience this week is something that you will not soon forget. The comradery, the competition, and the friendships that are developed this week will be truly amazing. While some competitors consider this the end, it is actually just the beginning. The skills you’ve acquired through speech and debate will serve you well in the future. Some of the most talented coaches in the country helped you to develop and hone those skills. You should thank them for all of their work on your behalf.
As we come to the West Coast to GO COASTAL the best advice I have for you is to enjoy the experience. That is what you will remember most of all.
