Lynch-Grossman Award for Policy L/D Debate
The Lynch-Grossman Award is named after after Ken Lynch of Sacramento City College and Craig Grossman from Irvine Valley College in California. The award is presented to the outstanding student in Policy Lincoln/Douglas Debate at the National Tournament.
Ken Lynch served as President of Phi Rho Pi and hosted many National Tournaments in the 1980’s. Craig Grossman served as President of Phi Rhi Pi and Vice-president of Tournament. The Lynch-Grossman Award is voted on by student competitors for the student who exhibits the finest qualities in Policy Lincoln/Douglas debate. At the National Tournament in 2013, the Debate Table and the Debate Committee decided to give the Lynch-Grossman Award to the individual debater entered in both Parliamentary Debate and NFA-L/D who earns the most sweepstakes points. Ties will be broken with speaker points. |
