Bell-Scroggins for Team Policy Debate
The Bell-Scroggins Award is named after Jack Bell from Pasadena City College and Jack Scroggins from the College of Sequoias in California. Both of these individuals were instrumental in Phi Rho Pi during the 1950’s.
The Bell-Scroggins Award is given to the team who exhibits the finest qualities in Policy Debate. The award is voted on at the National Tournament by students competing in Team Policy Debate. At the National Tournament in 2013, the Debate Table and the Debate Committee decided to give the Bell-Scroggins Award to the top speaker in Parliamentary Debate and the top speaker in NFA-L/D. |
